Data Protection Principles

Data being transmitted

The website can be visited without any registration. Whenever a user accesses the website the user's internet browser will automatically transmit data for technical reasons. These data will be stored in so-called server logs. The data include IP address of the requesting computer, time and date of the access, operation system, browser on the computer, referrer URL, requested URL. To that extent, data also build access statistics for the webspace provider. These data will not be aligned with other data and cannot be traced to, or analyzed as being from, an individual.

 

Collection, processing, and use of personal data

Personal data is any information in the sense of the E.U. General Data Protection Regulation (art. 4 GDPR) related to an identified or identifiable natural person; an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person. This includes, e.g., name, personal e-mail address, address of residence, phone number or date of birth.

Personal data are collected only in the scope of establishing contact. Inasmuch as personal data are collected, stored, processed, and used, such action complies with the relevant requirements set for data protection, in particular those set forth by the E.U. General Data Protection Regulation. In doing so, the personal data will be used exclusively to fulfil that purpose or provide that information which the user requested to be fulfilled or provided, and will be used so only to the extent required therefor.

Personal data will be transmitted exclusively in compliance with the rules binding us in national or E.U. legal provisions, requirements by law or data protection principles and rules, and will be so only to third parties or competent public authorities inasmuch as we are required by the law to do so or as consent was properly given. Users may withdraw their consent at any time. Withdrawal shall not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out before the time of withdrawal based on the previously given consent.

Lawfulness of data processing from May 25, 2018 shall be governed by art. 6 (1) 1st sentence GDPR.

 

Data security

Further to the above, users' personal data will be protected by means of the technical and organisational measures available against access by third parties, manipulation, destruction, unauthorised access, and loss. Security measures will be adjusted continuously in line with technical developments.

 

Other providers

Hyperlinks connecting to the websites by other providers are not covered by these data protection principles. HÜRNER Schweisstechnik is not in a position to influence on, or control, the data protection principles and measures by these third parties.

Lawfulness of such data processing from May 25, 2018 shall be governed by art. 6 (1) 1st sentence GDPR.

 

Right to obtaining information

We will gladly provide information on stored personal data, their origin, recipients, and purpose of data processing, as well as on the rights pertaining thereto, in particular to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data transmission, right to withdraw or right to object, including with a supervisory authority.

Personal data will be erased whenever the purpose of their being stored is fulfilled or you withdraw your consent, or when in such event the storage periods in the law or required out of legal considerations have expired.
