CNC-controlled butt-welding technology up to 800mm O.D., with or without HDC:
Hürner CNC ECO

“ECO,” that's Easy Control Operation — and the name is just what the machine is all about. Hürner's CNC machines are a reliable means of automating butt-welding applications, and their handling is as easy as it is optimized to the welding process. From the non-sticky coating of the heating element to the possibility to enter traceability data, taking in a fully self-monitored welding process along the way, everything in a Hürner CNC ECO machine is designed to deliver excellent results for optimum work input.

If ordered in the CNC ECO+ version, machines are shipped with HDC. HDC – Hürner Distance Control adds enhanced welding process control and safety by monitoring the exact distance between the pipe clamps on the frame, which also ensures reliable verification of bead build-up.

 

Hürner CNC ECO and CNC ECO+

The CNC version of the machines features a hydraulic unit with CNC control and a fully integrated welding process monitor:

Overview of the welding monitor
  • intuitive data entry menus (material, diameter, SDR, traceability data)
  • automatic calculation, control, and regulation of all welding pressures and times
  • automatic welding report generation; capacity up to 1000 reports
  • data tranfer to PC (with DataWork software) or printer via RS232, parallel or USB interface
  • welding compliance with various nationally applicable standards (DVS, INSTA, WIS, UNI, WIS-M, etc.)
  • languages: German, English, French, Russian, Portuguese, Spanish, Finnish

  • Welding/melting road monitor HDC with CNC ECO+ version
  • Carrying case for facing tool and heating plate
  • Facing tool with micro safety switch
  • Non-sticky coated (PTFE) heating element
