USB A and USB B — two ports, three destinations

In electronic data processing, data transmission is increasingly synonymous to USB. Other types of interfaces are getting less and less used. All recent welding systems offered by Hürner Schweisstechnik ship with USB transmission ports already. Since they are equipped with a USB A and a USB B interface, they empower you for maximum flexibility, allowing you to transfer welding and traceability data to a USB stick, to a USB printer or a PC via its USB port. And Hürner's comprehensive accessory offering makes even older systems USB-ready at the price of a few hand gestures.

 

USB 1000 Box

To be able to take advantage of the benefits of USB data transmission on older welding systems, use the USB 1000 Box. This external interface converter turns a classic combined RS232 interface into a USB line, thereby enabling older units to transfer via USB.
The box features a USB A port for data transmission to a USB printer or a USB stick and a USB B port to transfer data directly to a PC, e.g. with the welding database management software DataWork.

Hürner USB Stick

A USB stick is always ready at hand and doubles extremely well as an external welding data storage.
It fits into the USB A interface of the USB 1000 Box and the welding systems that have USB functionality. That's how you can spare your IT equipment the harsh environment of the worksite, and your welding reports travel safely to your office for further analysis.
